Black Bear Wednesday About 9 pm on Wednesday July 1st, our daughter strolled into the kitchen of our house and was immediately confronted by the sight of the back end of a black bear. Tomorrow night's Concert in the Park with Hine & Pilcher will feature a food vendor at the event. The truck is the "I Roll Lumpia", a local favorite. Construction should begin around June 18. Target date for the completed renovation is June 30th. The "yelp" will open the iron outside gate and the internal RFID arms. Modifying all gates for the "yelp" system is under consideration.
Bay Point is a POSTAL BOX operation Bay Point residents, owners and renters, receive their first class mail and packages through a post BOX system. Mail is not delivered to homes. On Friday May 15, 2020 BPCA published to all of BPCA a survey regarding the Meadows Course and its potential reuse. These are the INTERIM results after receiving 429 responses. Those 429 response all came from the on-line survey and they represent only 27% of the 1,550+/- households in Bay Point. A paper copy of the survey can be obtained at both the BPCA Office and the Post Office.
The golf course has purchased a large bush hog machine and will start mowing the the Meadows each month instead of the 8-10 weeks they have previously done. In addition they will keep the public areas along the roads mowed each week. This is better news. They will still not cut near houses where there is tree, stump and other debris.
