UPDATE 06/08/2020 THE EMPLOYEE’S TEST RESULTS CAME IN

THE TEST WAS NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19.

================================================================================

6/5/2020 – TODAY BPCA WAS NOTIFIED THAT AN EMPLOYEE’S RELATIVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19.

One of the administrative employees in the BP office was recently (May 31) in contact with a Covid-19 infected relative. The employee was last in the BPCA office on June 2.

I have requested that the employee be immediately tested and the employee has agreed.
We will advise results when available. In the meantime we will stay open and maintain distancing.

The entire office has been sanitized as we often do.

Respectfully
Bill Wanner
BPCA Board of Directors, Chair

      I welcome that suggestion. It was noted earlier that many people do not use that technology, but lets try it for those who do.

    In light of this development it seems it would be in the best interest of the community and the BPCA board to implement virtual meetings for all BPCA meetings.

    Virtual meetings will not only limit potential exposure for high risk property owners who would like to be active and informed neighbors without risking exposure, it also eases the liability to the BPCA board members by making meetings accessible to all property owners without risk of exposure to COVID-19 or being turned away due to social distancing measures.

    Virtual meetings will also allow property owners who are out of state, work past 5:30, have families involved in sports and extracurricular activities or who are unable to be present due to illness or disability the ability to stay informed and exercise their right as property owners to be a part of the BPCA Meetings and help build the community we all love.

    Since many residents cannot or do not access this web site, I suggest that you post signs to this effect. Perhaps a sign that directs residents to a location where a flyer is posted with the above information is better.
