The final two Project Torchlight presentations are now scheduled. They will be held Jan 6, 2021 05:00 PM Central Time, and Jan 13, 2020 05;00 pm Central Time. These Zoom Presentations regard the potential acquisition of 300+ acres of land by Bay Point Community Association. This presentation is intended for Bay Point property owners and is not intend for the press.
The waiting room for each pf the Zoomers will open at 4:30 PM and the presentation will begin at 5:00 PM and consist of opening remarks (5-10 minutes), a video presentation regarding the potential land acquisition (25-30 minutes) and then a question and answer session (about 1 1/2 hour).
Please contact the office at (850) 234-2727 to reserve a seat for either of the presentations. There will be a limit of 40 participants for each presentation.The office will require your email address to facilitate sending you the log in credentials for the relevant presentation. You will receive the credentials the evening before the presentation; either the evening of Jan 5th or JAN 12th.
Using Zoom provides us the opportunity to reach as many residents as is practical and allow for questions and answers. When the question and answer period begins please “raise your hand electronically” to signal the moderator of your interest in speaking. The moderator will ask you to unmute your microphone, ask your question and then the moderator will mute your microphone and answer your question. The “raise your hand” button is found in different locations depending on your system. In some it is located by selecting chat and then clicking “raise your hand”. In others the “raise your hand” button can be found under the Participants tab at the bottom of the window. There may be other options to raise your hand and hopefully you are familiar with your computer’s implementation of Zoom.
