Cooperation is the key to success. Resident cooperation has enabled Bay Point Security to acquire some of the information needed to put forth a plan that will hopefully help us better control the activities of those who deliver goods and services to the Bay Point community. Much of the information is acquired by our officers during the normal check-in process. Other information such as food vendor names and the services such as DoorDash who deliver the food require the cooperation of the residents who receive the service and the products. A DoorDash driver, while exiting the property along the back side of Wahoo, failed to stop for a stop sign; raced down the Wahoo backside being clocked on radar at 44 miles per hour and then exited the property through the entrance side of the Thomas Drive gate in a reckless and irresponsible manner. This vehicle will never be allowed to enter Bay Point again. Next week we will deal with the DoorDash Company and its drivers; hopefully, this endeavor will lead to a safer arrangement and a better educated drivers’ pool. We are hoping that food vendors, such as Chick-fil-A who uses DoorDash, will help us identify those who drive on the edge and could possibly endanger our residents.
All Bay Point property owners must work together for the betterment of the community.
