Dinner in Bay Point. Tuesday’s are for Italian cooking at Club 72 and last night’s dinner was delicious. How about some antipasto, Caesar’s Salad, bacon covered chicken breast with a mushroom duxelle, asparagus sautéed with red peppers, linguine and chocolate and strawberries for dessert. Jeff, our chef last night, was in great form serving up this wonderful meal. After eating too much it was time to saunter across the road to enjoy some more of our “stay at Home” evening.
What could be more fun than a Stay at Home evening here in Bay Point. Perhaps things are almost the way they were before 10/10/2018.
Fun in the Park. With an hour of sunlight in the day the neighborhood kids set up a ball field and picked teams for a game of dodgeball. Our kids of all different ages took parti in the fun. With gusto and much enthusiasm the teams took to the field and played until the sun gave way to the twilight and then traded in their sneakers for blankets as the show was about to begin.
Movie in Marina Park. The first of the 2019 Summer Movie in the Park series began last night. The movie was the 2017 released version of Jumanji “Welcome to the Jungle”. The movie, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Killan, was a fun family movie that delighted some 75 neighbors with a summer time treat at home. Once again the Movie in Marina Park was a big success.
Thanks to all that worked with Tracy Rudhall and Bar 72 to make this evening a great “Stay at Home” fun time in Bay Point – a community like no other in the Panhandle!
