The BPCA Finance Committee has announced the Bay Point Community Association office is now able to accept and process debit and credit card payments for amounts owed to BPCA. BPCA will add a 3% convenience fee to your card payments so as to not penalize persons who choose not to use a card for payment.
The convenience fee is not intended to earn a profit for BPCA, but only to cover the cost of card processing imposed by the bank and card processing operation. The Finance Committee will continually monitor the convenience fee charge and make adjustments to ensure the processing fee does not result in a profit or loss to the association and its members.
BPCA’s acceptance of cards for payment will provide an additional opportunity for residents and owners paying their BPCA assessment with a card to earn their respective rewards points. Currently, only VISA and Mastercard will be accepted for payment, but expansion of the program may be considered in the future.
