Ryan Mulvey, Bay Point's Director of Golf, announced the Nicklaus Course greens will undergo a turf conversion from Tif-Dwarf Bermuda to the new Ultra-Dwarf Tif Eagle Bermuda. The process will include a full-till with the current sod being stripped off along with 6 inches of soil. New soil and sand will be introduced, tilled, and then fumigated to remove any fungus, disease, nematodes, and various other potential soil issues. Once

Bay Point golfer Steven Johnson, the son of Steve and Linda Johnson and a recent Bay High graduate, has added a few more golfing accomplishments to his impressive list.
